Fête de la Chanson Monégasque 9 was the nineteenth edition of the popular Monegasque national selection which is organizated to select Monaco's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest Tengaged 21. After the poor results from the previous edition, the TMC selected four songs from non very popular singers and who never participated in the national selection. They were presented to the juries and the public in the final which was held in Montecarlo. The winner song was "Alive".

The professional jury was composed by the head of delegations from several countries of ESCT plus an extra jury, the televote. Each jury had to give 12, 8, 4 and 2 points among the four potential songs in the final.
